LoRA for SDXL that adds authentic film grain texture to images, working across portraits, scenes, and both color and black-and-white styles.
About this model
FilmGrain.Redmond is a fine-tuned LoRA adapter that generates realistic film grain effects on SDXL-generated images. Trained on the stabilityai/stable-diffusion-xl-base-1.0 base model, it adds authentic analog film texture across a wide variety of subjects and themes. The model was trained using GPU resources provided by Redmond.AI.
Trigger the film grain effect using the instance prompt words `Film Grain` and `FilmGrainAF` in your prompts. The LoRA works well with both detailed and minimalist prompts, and supports colorful, black-and-white, and other visual styles. You can control the grain intensity through the LoRA weight, and the grain adapts naturally to the subject matter.
Recommended settings: 30 inference steps with the DPMSolverMultistepScheduler scheduler. The LoRA weights are distributed in SafeTensors format (81.15 MB). Load it in diffusers with `pipeline.load_lora_weights()` and pass the trigger words alongside your scene description for consistent film grain results.
Licensed under a bespoke LoRA-trained license that permits commercial use without requiring credit but does not allow derivatives or relicensing under a different license.
